Welcome to the DAT family of Taxi Services
Dulles Airport Taxi, Inc. (DAT) operates as a professional taxicab management company through a contract with Washington-Dulles International Airport approximately 20 miles west of Washington D.C. DAT manages one-third of the Flyer fleet for Dulles Airport, two other firms operate taxicabs within the Flyer fleet as well. However; you can find our taxicab representatives operating taxicabs with numbers 001 through 299. DAT drivers operate taxicabs with the latest in GPS technology. The advanced GPS program is linked directly to our reservation system to help our independent contract drivers identify customer requests more quickly. When calling the Washington-Flyer system to reserve, confirm or cancel your cab service please call 703-572-TAXI. The dispatcher or call taker will provide you with color code for your confirmation. DAT uses the color code of YELLOW when completing a reservation through our system in conjunction with the Flyer Fleet. We never use an outside source when fulfilling your Flyer needs. Any customer needing to be transported to the Washington-Dulles International Airport should always remember to allow a minimum of 2 hours before the flight leaves when booking a cab. This will enable you to reach the airport with plenty of time to check in and proceed through the TSA checkpoints without further delaying your travel plans. All airlines start boarding 20 to 30 minutes before the actual departure times. However; some international carriers like Air France state on their websites there is a 40-minute "check in deadline" that is strictly followed. Please be sure to read carefully all restrictions and rules and allow extra time for life's mishaps. DAT does not guarantee taxi service no sooner than 30 minutes after the reservation is made. Although cabs are generally available, traffic and weather conditions may make it difficult to have a cab to your exact location in less than 30 minutes without prior notification.
